Roseville, Calif.- Last week Roseville narcotics detectives arrested a Carmichael resident suspected of selling illegal drugs in Roseville and other cities throughout the region.
Last Wednesday evening, September 5, detectives from Roseville’s Vice and Narcotics Enforcement Team (VNET)ย arrested Michael Ramborger, age 45, in the 2500 block of Marconi Avenue in Sacramento County. During the arrest, detectives seized six ounces of methamphetamine and a quarter-ounce of heroin, both drugs packaged for sale, a loaded handgun with its serial number removed, and other illegal items.
Ramborger is being held in the Sacramento County Jail in lieu of $290,000 bail on drug and illegal weapons charges.
Ramborger is also being held without bail on a “flash incarceration” on suspicion of violating the terms of his Post Release Community Supervision. Ramborger is a state prison parolee classified under AB109 as a “non-violent, non-serious, non-sex-offender.” PRCS offenders are supervised by county probation officers and local law enforcement, rather than state parole.
