Since our inception in 2003, Rocklin & Roseville Today has consistently employed a privacy policy that is intended to reflect a consumer’s perspective, not a corporate perspective.

We never share, rent, sell, lease or provide personally identifiable user information information to any third-parties unless required under law through the legal subpoena process.

We do use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

What We Collect Cookies- Some portions of our sites use cookies to provide some level of personalization and customization for our users.

  • Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on portions of our sites.
  • Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and other sites on the Internet.
  •  Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

IP Addresses. We reserve the right to store page stream data and visitor IP addresses to server log files. IP address are utilized for geo-targeting (delivering content based on location) and for security purposes.

We limit the collection of personal information to the minimum extent which allows us to provide local businesses with our advertising services and personalization services for non-business users. We do not share, rent, sell, lease or provide to 3rd parties.

Encryption and Credit Card Information
All pages on RosevilleToday now provide an encrypted connection via SSL between your web browser and our web servers. Businesses that register with our services provide their credit card information online via secured SSL connection. Credit Card data is encrypted during transmission and endpoints. We do NOT store credit card information on our web servers. Additional secure payment options are provided via both PayPal and Stripe.
