On Saturday, September 8, 2012, around 10:03 PM, Rocklin Police received a 9-1-1 call regarding a hit and run collision that occurred twenty minutes earlier.
An 18 year-old student of William Jessup University was riding his skateboard westbound on Sunset Boulevard, east of Atherton Road, when he was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle. The victim suffered minor injuries and has been released from the hospital. The victim did not see the vehicle, he only heard it.
