Roseville, Calif.- On January 14,ย  Roseville Police detectives arrested 33-year-old Michael Anthony Milan of Sacramento in connection with Monday’s carjacking of an occupied vehicle.

At about 4:30 p.m. Monday, January 12, Roseville officers responded to a call about suspicious activity in the greenbelt area of the Sierra Gardens neighborhood, near Sunrise Avenue and Douglas Boulevard.  As officers were searching the area, dispatch received a call that a black Volkswagen Jetta had just been carjacked from in front of a store in the 1900 block of Douglas Boulevard, with a woman and young girl inside.   The carjacker let the woman and girl out in the 300 block of North Sunrise Avenue before driving the stolen car out of the area.
