Rocklin, Calif.- On March 12, 2012 at approximately 11:15 AM, Rocklin Police Youth Services Officers assigned full-time to the campus were notified that a man was using a mirror to look at another person while using the public restroom facility inside the library at Sierra Community College.

The victim reported that while using the restroom facility, he saw a person in the stall next to him use a mirror to look at the victim.  Rocklin Police Youth Services Officers were able to respond quickly and the investigation led to the arrest of 72 year old Donald Jackson, who is not a student at the college. 

He was charged with the following crimes and booked at the Placer County Jail.

  • 647 (d) PC Loitering in or about any toilet open to the public for the purpose of engaging in or soliciting any lewd or lascivious or any unlawful act
  • 647 (j) (1) PC Using instrumentality to view a person with the intent to invade the privacy of such person
