Ranking #2 in Sacramento Business Journal 2009 Book of Lists
Roseville, Calif. ย Roseville-based PRIDE Industries ranked second on the 2009 Sacramento Business Journal Annual Book of Lists increasing in rank from 2008 and 2007. The list ranks manufacturers in the four-county metro area, including Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado and Yolo counties.
PRIDE Industries is a not-for-profit organization that meets the manufacturing and facilities services needs of businesses and government nationwide while fulfilling its mission to create jobs for people with disabilities.
PRIDE was also represented on seven other lists in the publication, including ranking 10th among medical device manufacturers in the region; ranking as the 7th largest private-sector employer in the four county metro; and ranking 33rd among private companies in the region.
PRIDE”s CFO, Tim Yamauchi, was named the CFO of the Year in the large company category, while PRIDE’s 53.3% revenues growth from 2006 to 2008 moved it up 34 places from #74 to #40 on the fastest growing companies list.
PRIDE was also listed as Placer County’s seventh largest employer with 1,352 full-time workers, and number seven among the area’s electronics recyclers, processing 250 tons of electronic waste in 2008.
