Roseville, Calif.- Today, Roseville Police Department investigators arrested Lam Phuoc Quang, 34, of San Francisco, on suspicion of cultivation of marijuana. He is currently being held in the Roseville Police Department Jail on $250,000 bail, and will be moved to the Placer County Jail soon.

Quang was arrested at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, April 6, at an unoccupied house he owns on Glenwood Circle in Roseville.

On January 18, the Roseville Fire Department responded to a fire at the Glenwood Circle home after a neighbor reported an electrical box fire. When firefighters checked the unoccupied house to see if fire had  spread, they discovered a large-scale marijuana growing operation, including an irrigation system, lights, and timers. Roseville Police officers responded and seized 608 marijuana plants, with an estimated street value of $2 million.

Quang has not been linked to any of the other large-scale marijuana growing operations that have been discovered in northern California.
