Roseville Police are asking anyone who witnessed a single-vehicle traffic collision Sunday morning on Taylor Road to call investigators.

Shortly before 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 2, a 2000 Chevrolet four-door sedan was being driven southbound in the 3000 block of Taylor Road when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed into the opposing lane and then collided with a tree. The driver and only occupant of the vehicle, 57-year-old Leroy Frank James, of Rocklin, was transported by ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The Roseville Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the collision. Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call the Roseville Police Department at (916)774-5000 extension 1.
