Placer County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two Sacramento men this morning after the suspects’ burglary of a Colfax business was caught on tape.

Witnesses called 911 at 6 a.m. Tuesday to report two suspicious men in a BMW at the Bunch Street Laundromat in Colfax. When deputies arrived, the business owner played his surveillance video, which showed the two men entering the business and forcing open the coin machine.

With information provided by witnesses, a Placer County Sheriff’s deputy spotted the suspects’ BMW traveling westbound on Interstate 80 in Auburn. The car was pulled over on Lincoln Way and the suspects were detained until two witnesses from Colfax arrived to identify them. Both witnesses positively identified Anthony Yiu Leung, 27, and Jason Ray Perryman, 28. The suspects were wearing the same clothing as the men in the surveillance video and were in possession of a large bag of coins.
