B.R. Cohn Winery with deeply infused Bay Area rock n’ roll roots and stunning scenery is a perfect choice for back-to-back weekends of entertainment. The winery grounds offer room to roam and plenty of shade for up to about 4,000 attendees.

Unconventional approach welcome

Sonoma Harvest Music Festival is an amenity soaked festival experience in an intimate setting. Rolling hills and the vineyard serve as a scenic backdrop for the single stage.

Unlike other amphitheaters, fans love B.R. Cohn Amphitheater’s smart approach which places the lawn seats in front with VIP and additional seating perched above and behind. When done right, this intelligent design method eliminates obstructed views. Just above the lawn, casual seating on stools, wine barrels and picnic tables is a welcome relief from stadium style seating and for those of you who love to wander.

Restaurant Garden & Libations

When the munchies strike, fans may indulge in an assortment of fine eatery booths that line the Restaurant Garden.

From craft tacos, scrumptious ceviche to toppings-piled-high stone oven pizza and more, there are plenty of delicious options for the foodie in you.

Washing it all down with an ice cold IPA or glass of wine is easy at the many beverage kiosks located throughout the property. Yay, no long lines!

Music

An assortment of acts and genres adds broader musical appeal to make Sonoma Harvest Music Festival a fun place to catch some of your favorite artists, while sampling and adding new discoveries to your ears. Sunday’s acts included Ms. Lauryn Hill, CeeLo Green, Karl Densonโ€™s Tiny Universe, North Mississippi Allstars and Monophonics.

Monophonics
Monophonics, always a fun show!

Highlights (just a few)

Monophonics: One of our favorite live acts. Energetic funk with an old-school feel.

North Mississippi All Stars: Fun tunes, southern jam band. The first time we’ve ever heard a washboard solo. We have to admit, it was pretty freakin’ cool.

Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe: Fresh off his most recent tour as the Rolling Stones tenor sax player, Karl brought his Tiny Universe band to Sonoma on Sunday and unleashed a furious, high energy jam on the crowd. For lack of better words, it kicked some serious ass.

Karl Denson
Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe kicked ass onstage. We dig your Stones tie Karl!

CeeLo Green: Opening with a taste of David Bowie’s Let’s Dance, CeeLo energized the crowd and reminded some of us that we’re not so young. Charismatic entertainer with a fun stage presence engaged the fans and put on a terrific performance.
