A Granite Bay woman received life-threatening injuries when she was struck by a vehicle on Old Auburn Road near Allegretto Way.

At 2:15 p.m. Friday, May 28, Roseville Police and Fire personnel responded to a collision on northbound Old Auburn Road near Allegretto Way.  A 50-year-old woman was walking when she was struck by a vehicle being driven by a 51-year-old male from Granite Bay.  The pedestrian was transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. As of Saturday morning, hospital officials listed her in critical condition.

Old Auburn Road was closed for five and a half hours while investigators examined the scene.  The collision is being investigated by the Roseville Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team.
