The first officer on scene looked through the windows of the bank and saw the robber holding a handgun.  The robber saw the officer standing outside, and immediately surrendered. He was taken into custody without further incident.  The “handgun” used in the robbery was found to be a pellet gun designed as a replica of a Colt pistol.

John Lubeck, 20, of Roseville was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He is being held in the Placer County Jail onย  $50,000 bail.
