Rocklin, Calif.- On September 2, 2009 at approximately 0700 hrs. officers responded to a home in the 2900 block of Twin Creeks Ln.. in Rocklin for a report of a possible Marijuana cultivation. Upon arrival officers met with fire personnel on scene who were mopping up a structure fire at the residence. During the fire investigation a Rocklin Fire Department Arson Investigator found three large marijuana plants and a marijuana grow in the residence.

Officers made contact with two of the three residents at the scene. Suspect Joel Klingenberg provided officers with information that he was responsible for growing Marijuana in the residence. It would appear that the Marijuana was for personal use and there are no indications that sales occurred as a result of the Marijuana cultivation. As a result of a search of the suspect’s vehicle a small amount of dried Marijuana was found. Joel Klingenberg was arrested at the scene for the Cultivation of Marijuana, Transportation of Marijuana.

Investigation into the cause of the fire was determined to not be related to the cultivation case.
