Rocklin, Calif.- An alert Rocklin Police Officer spotted a sedan in the area of Sierra College Blvd. and Taylor Road in the early morning hours of October 29th and, after contacting the occupants, located property that had been stolen earlier in the week from a car in the parking lot of California Family fitness in Rocklin just days earlier.

The officer noticed the sedan during routine patrol at about 4:30 AM and after seeing several vehicle code violations the officer stopped the car and made contact with the two occupants.  The officer located a driver’s license and a credit card inside the purse of the driver that did not match the name of the driver.  A quick check showed that the license and card had been stolen earlier in the week.
