Rocklin, Calif.- The Sierra College Foundation is proud to announce that Robert Dugan, Director of Government and Public Affairs for Granite Construction Inc., has joined the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Dugan oversees legislative, political and public affairs for Granite Construction, its operating units and its affiliates at the federal and state level across the United States.
“We are thrilled to have Robert join our board of directors,” said Holly Tiche, President of the Foundation. “We are pleased to have such quality community members supporting our college to help students achieve higher education.”
Prior to his roles in corporate Public Affairs, Mr. Dugan spent 14 years in and around the State Legislature.
As a senior staff member for the state Legislature, he served over a dozen counties, almost 30 cities and towns, and hundreds of communities in Northern and Central California, specializing in local government, business, economic development, transportation, technology, agriculture and natural resource policy issues.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in the role of board member for such a fine college,” Mr. Dugan said. “I look forward to helping create a brighter future for our students.”
