The man wanted in a string of Placer County burglaries and robberies was apprehended in Auburn Tuesday night. Placer County Sheriff’s Special Operations detectives and the Special Investigations Unit arrested David Lee Todd, 49, without incident at an Erin Drive home in Auburn at 5 p.m.

Todd had evaded capture over the past two weeks after detectives identified him as the suspect who was caught on videotape while kicking in the door and burglarizing an Auburn golf course pro shop.
