The Roseville Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred at about 4:15 PM near the intersection of Sierra College Boulevard and Douglas Boulevard.ย  A male teenager was shot, but is expected to recover.ย  The suspects are still at large.

At about 3:45 PM, a group of teenagers were inside a fast food restaurant near Sierra College Boulevard and Douglas Boulevard, when  other teens entered the restaurant, and a fight broke out.  The manager stopped the fight, and the second group left.  The first group of teens emerged from the restaurant approximately 20 minutes later, and were standing on the sidewalk next to Sierra College Boulevard when a silver sedan cruised by. The driver of the silver sedan used a handgun to fire several shots toward the group, striking one of the teens, an approximately 16-year-old male. The victim was transported by ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, where he is currently being treated. His injuries did not appear life-threatening.

The suspect vehicle is a silver newer four-door sedan, similar to a Cadillac CTS. The driver was described as an older teenage Hispanic male, 5’6″ tall and 170 pounds, with short spiky brown hair.  His passenger was a white female, 16 to 17 years old, 5’6″ tall and 140 pounds, wearing eyeglasses, a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Another vehicle associated with the incident is a burgundy older four-door sedan, possibly a Chrysler.
