Rocklin Burglary Suspect Arrested

In December a Rocklin resident reported their residence located in the El Don Estates area had recently been burglarized. 

Rocklin Police Officers and CSI processed the residence and located several items of physical evidence. Rocklin PD CSI Technicians conclusively tied physical evidence from the crime scene to David Alan Foster of Sacramento.

Based on probable cause obtained through the physical evidence and follow-up investigation, Rocklin Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for David Alan Foster for charges of burglary. On January 25th Foster was arrested by the Rocklin PD.

David Foster was booked into the Placer County Jail on charges of 459 PC-burglary and a Plumas County warrant for 1203.2 PC-violation of probation. Foster is being held at the Placer County Jail on $30,000.00 bail.

In the past 120 days, the South Placer region has experienced an increase in residential burglaries. In an effort to reduce this type of crime, Rocklin PD encourages residents to lock all doors and windows, maintain adequate exterior and interior lighting, get to know their neighbors and immediately call Rocklin PD when they believe a crime has or is about to occur.
