Since taking on the leadership role for the Placer SPCA in early 2002, Fratis has increased the organization’s budget from a half-million dollars to nearly $3 million through the effective management of resources and strategic addition/evaluation of programs and services. Under her leadership as the CEO, Fratis has been instrumental in transforming the Placer SPCA to being one of the most well-known and respected organizations in all of Placer County.

This acknowledgment not only takes her role as Placer SPCA Chief Executive Officer into consideration, but also recognizes her volunteer work with the Rotary Club of Roseville, four major Chambers of Commerce in Placer County – Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln and Auburn – board member for the California State Humane Society, and service on the City of Roseville Board of Appeals.

“I truly believe Leilani is deserving of this recognition,” says Al Johnson, Placer SPCA Board President. “We know how hard she works, and it’s wonderful that the community sees it, too.”

Roseville 2014 was hosted by the Roseville Chamber of Commerce and focused on networking, economic development and business showcasing.

The Placer SPCA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, not affiliated with any other entity and does not receive funding from the ASPCA or HSUS.
