A traffic violation led Roseville Police to an apartment in the 500 block of Vine Way, where they seized methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and loaded firearms.ย  Six people were arrested.

At 10:38 p.m. Sunday, January 25, Roseville officers were on routine patrol on Sixth Street when they passed a white Chevrolet Tahoe SUV. The SUV driver ducked down, as if to avoid being seen. The officers also noticed that the SUV’s rear license plate light was out.  The officers made a u-turn to stop the SUV, and the SUV sped away across Riverside Avenue onto Darling Way, swerving and traveling in the wrong lane. The SUV turned on Vitale Street. As the SUV approached the intersection of Vitale Street and Vine Way, the driver jumped out of the SUV and ran away.  The SUV continued, collided with some bushes and came to a stop. Officers detained one passenger in the SUV, and other officers tracked the driver to an apartment in the 500 block of Vine Way.
