An Auburn man was arrested for indecent exposure near Regional Park Tuesday morning after he was seen sitting naked in his car.
Dirk Foehr, 43, was sitting in his Mercedes sedan on Richardson Drive, near the park’s tennis courts, when a woman walked by with her dog. She noticed that the man wasn’t wearing a shirt, but when she got up to the car, she saw he was completely unclothed and was exposing his genitals.

Moments later, the woman waved down a passing Placer County sheriff’s deputy, who had also noticed the shirtless man a minute earlier. The deputy went back to where the man had been parked, but he was gone. The deputy drove onto Dry Creek Road and spotted the car, which then pulled into a parking lot, made a u-turn back onto Dry Creek, with the deputy following behind. The deputy stopped Foehr as he pulled back onto Dry Creek Road.

The female victim was transported to that location and was able to positively identify Foehr as the suspect. He was transported to the Placer County Jail on a charge of indecent exposure. He posted $3,500 bail and was released Tuesday night.
