Roseville Police are investigating the death of three people inside a residence in the 1600 block of Alnwick Drive.

At 8:57 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, a male teenager called Roseville Police to report that a male intruder, whom he did not know, had entered his house, and he thought the intruder had shot two of his family members. The teenager had fled the house, and was taken to safety by Roseville Police officers.

Officers surrounded the house and closed nearby streets to traffic.  Officers were not able to make contact with anyone, or detect any movement inside the residence.  At 1:40 a.m., after a preliminary check of the interior of the residence with a camera-equipped robot, SWAT team members entered the home. They found three deceased people–an adult male and adult female, believed to be the residents, and another adult male, believed to be the shooter.  Officers do not believe there are any other outstanding suspects.

Detectives and crime scene technicians are continuing the investigation. The names of the deceased are being withheld at this time, pending notification of family members.
