Several new tasting rooms, restaurants, and upcoming events

Napa, Calif. – With more than 55 wine tasting rooms, 70 restaurants, and plenty of lodging options all within walking distance, Downtown Napa is buzzing with new experiences to check out this spring.

From cruising the city on a custom sidecar tour to sipping on bubbles paired with caviar in an ultra-luxe lounge, Downtown Napa is the ultimate destination to sip and savor a taste of the good life. Here is what’s new this spring:

Upcoming Events:

  • Napa Farmers Market– voted the number one farmers’ market in California- is back open on Tuesdays from 8 am to noon at 1100 West St.
  • The Napa Table event celebrating the 175th anniversary of Napa will shut down First Street from Randolph to Coombs St. on June 11. Tickets are sold out but you can email [email protected] to be added to the waitlist.
  • Napa City Nights summer concerts have announced their schedule, with four concerts held every Friday night in June.

Arts and Entertainment

Sidecar Tours are now available to explore wine country in style. The motorcycle sidecar will hold two passengers and are the world’s first and only fleet of tandem sidecars.

Wine Tasting Rooms

New Frontier Wine Co. opened their tasting lounge next to Napa Creek on Main Street at 1040 Main St. They are open every day from noon to 7 pm. The lounge offers tasting flights and wine by the glass from a portfolio of wineries from Napa, Sonoma, and Amador as well as numerous imports.

Brendel by Heitz Wine Cellars has opened a tasting room across the street from the Archer Hotel in Napa at 1227 First St. The tasting room is open every day from 11 am to 7 pm.

Chateau Buena Vista, an outpost of California’s oldest winery, opened in the historic Gordon Building on First Street Napa at 1142 First St. The tasting room brings opulence to Downtown Napa with luxe details and tasting experiences featuring caviar and chocolates.

New Food and Drink:

Loveski Deli, a project of Chef Christopher Kostow and his wife Martina, opened in the Oxbow Public Market. This “Jew-ish deli” serves cured and smoked meats, bagels, and house-made pickles, along with fermented and other vegetables.

Winston’s Cafรฉ and Bakery is now open at 1517 3rd St. and serves breakfast and lunch, as well as takeout and Paulie’s Bagels. They are open Wednesday to Friday 7:30 to 11 am and Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 1 pm.

Osha Thai Restaurant opened with renowned chef Lalita Sonksamlane of San Francisco fame behind the Thai restaurant. The restaurant is located at 1142 Main St.

Los Agaves is a new Mexican restaurant on the Riverfront, located at 660 Main St. They are open Thursday to Sunday 11:30 am to 9 pm.

The Waterfront Seafood Grill is now open at 720 Main St. Sunday to Thursday 5-9 pm and Friday to Saturday, 5-9:30 pm. The owner also owns Cordeiro’s Steakhouse.
