Magnificent 30-foot tree returns to The Garden Court
San Francisco, Calif. – Since 1875, the Palace Hotel has been the home to memorable holiday celebrations. With unforgettable events that transcend generations, some of the many favorites include Afternoon Tea, Sunday Brunch or simply enjoying the elegant holiday décor.
This year, the Palace brings the grand holiday tree back to The Garden Court. Soaring 30 feet in the air and standing under the gilded glass ceiling and shimmering Austrian crystal chandeliers, the tree symbolizes years of shared traditions at the iconic hotel.
In the true spirit of the holidays, the Palace is giving back to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital with a special holiday package and breakfast fundraising program in The Garden Court.
SEASON OF GIVING PACKAGE
Enjoy a festive holiday getaway and give back to a very important cause. The Palace Season of Giving package includes a one-night stay; a $50 food and beverage credit for the Pied Piper; and complimentary in room WiFi. With every Season of Giving package booked, $10 will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network local beneficiary UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, providing gifts for both Palace guests and the beautiful kids at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.

BREAKFAST FUNDRAISING PROGRAM
The Garden Court has been a favorite place to meet for breakfast for locals and visitors from around the world. When guests choose the popular signature breakfast buffet option, $1 is donated to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. The program continues throughout the year and provides ongoing support for this very important cause.

HOLIDAY SIGNATURE TEA
Celebrate a beloved tradition at the Palace Hotel with Signature Tea in The Garden Court. The tea, offered December 2, 3, 10, 16, 17, 30, and 31, 2022 from 2 – 4 p.m., is $100 per person for adults and $70 for children (5-12). Reservations are required.
SANTA CLAUS TEA
A visit from Santa during Afternoon Tea in The Garden Court makes the holidays memorable for all ages. Santa Claus Tea, offered December 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, and 23, 2022 from 2 – 4 p.m. and on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2022, from noon – 4 p.m., is $130 per person for adults and $75 for children (5-12). Reservations are required.
SANTA SWIM
Enjoy a splashing time at the beautiful indoor pool with festive music, floaties and holiday treats. Exclusively for Palace guests, hosted every Saturday afternoon in December from 1 – 4 p.m.
LETTERS TO SANTA
Guests of all ages may send letters to Santa guaranteed to arrive in time for Christmas. The special Palace mailbox, located in the hotel lobby, makes deliveries directly to the North Pole through December 25, 2022. So, make your list, check it twice, and drop it in the Palace mailbox! Postage is not required.
HOLIDAY CITY BRUNCH
The holidays would not be complete without City Brunch in The Garden Court. The elaborate brunch is offered each Sunday, December 4, 2022 through January 1, 2023 from 7 – 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. The brunch is $120 per person for adults and $60 for children (5-12). Reservations are required.
PIED PIPER COCKTAILS & DINNER
Enjoy holiday cheer in the historic Pied Piper. The warm welcoming atmosphere is the perfect setting for gathering with family, meeting friends or treating yourself to a bite when taking a break from holiday shopping. The Pied Piper is open nightly for dinner from 4 – 10 p.m. and for cocktails from 4 – 11:30 p.m.
Christmas & New Year’s Eve
CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER IN THE PIED PIPER
The Pied Piper provides the ideal holiday backdrop to enjoy a festive Christmas Eve Dinner. The three course prix fixe holiday menu is available Saturday, December 24, 2022 from 4 – 10 p.m. Dinner is $80 per person for adults and $45 for children (5-12). Reservations are required.
CHRISTMAS DAY BRUNCH IN THE GARDEN COURT
Christmas Day Brunch at the Palace is a wonderful gift for all to enjoy. The brunch, featuring live music and an elaborate array of both savory and sweet traditional favorites prepared by the Palace’s esteemed culinary team, is available on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at 10 a.m.; 12:30 p.m. or 3 p.m. The brunch is $170 per person for adults and $85 for children (5-12). Reservations are required.
NEW YEAR’S EVE DINNER IN THE PIED PIPER
Countdown to 2023 with a celebratory New Year’s Eve dinner in the legendary Pied Piper. Guests will enjoy live music and party favors to accompany the chef’s festive three course prix fixe menu. Served Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 4 – 9:30 p.m. The New Year’s Eve dinner is $120 per person for adults and $55 for children (5-12). Reservations are required.
