As vice president of marketing and communications, O’Leary will oversee the organization’s goals of growing Sonoma County’s robust hospitality economy, increasing visitation, enhancing the organization’s research and data-mining efforts, expanding opportunities for partner businesses, and raising the profile of the organization among the Sonoma County community.

“We are excited that Todd is bringing his exceptional experience to Sonoma County Tourism,” said Claudia Vecchio, president/CEO. “Todd is a respected destination marketing organization veteran, working at San Francisco Travel and, before that, Visit Milwaukee.

“This is a pivotal time for Sonoma County and our hospitality community,” O’Leary said. “Our new brand, Life Opens Up, does a wonderful job of connecting visitors to the people, places and experiences that make Sonoma County truly unique. I look forward to working with our team, partners, and community stakeholders to bring this new vision to life.
