Rocklin, Calif. – Rocklin has hit one out of the park. With blue skies, temperatures in the 70’s and warm sun permeating the air, city officials and local residents converged at the new Quarry Park in Rocklin to celebrate its official grand opening.
Quarry Park expertly blends and embraces the city’s history with the city’s vision for a modern future.
Sitting upon land that is home to an old granite quarry, the park allows visitors a glimpse back into a bygone era while providing modern amenities for recreation and entertainment.
The park currently includes a meandering path that wanders around the park’s water features, grassy areas for picnic and play along with an outdoor amphitheater with a growing concert schedule.
We look forward to what lies ahead and anticipate Quarry Park’s popularity will soar for what we can only describe as “A Jewel of South Placer County”.
