You have to admit it’s always fun getting rid of those large, bulky trash items that never make it to the trash. On Saturday, March 20, Bakersfield will be hosting the following event as part of its Clean City Initiative. Details below.

The events will be hosted on Saturday, March 20, from 8 a.m. to noon at the parking lots at Aera Park (100 Jewetta Drive) and the Bakersfield Municipal Airport (2000 S. Union Avenue).

Large trash or recycling items that don’t fit in residential tan or blue bins can be brought to either location. Residents should be prepared to unload their items themselves.
