Roseville, Calif. – At 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, a serial bank robber that the FBI has nicknamed “the X-Games Bandit” robbed Placer Sierra Bank, 1259 Pleasant Grove Blvd. Investigators believe the same suspect robbed the same bank exactly a week ago, on Tuesday, September 4.

Today the suspect, described as a white male in his 20s or 30s, wearing a dark blue baseball cap, sunglasses, t-shirt and jeans, went into the bank and gave an employee a note demanding money. The note mentioned a weapon, but no weapon was seen. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber rode away on a black BMX-type bicycle. No one reported being injured during the robbery.
