On January 10, 2009 at about 1:25 pm, the Rocklin Police Department responded to the parking lot of the Safeway store on Sunset Blvd. and Park Dr. to a reported armed robbery with a handgun.

The female victim had completed shopping in the store and was in the process of loading her groceries into her vehicle. A black newer four door sedan with rear tinted windows pulled up near her vehicle and a female exited the front passenger seat and approached the victim on foot. The female suspect displayed a small dark colored hand gun with a silver tip. The suspect said nothing but reached over and took the victim’s purse. When the suspect took the purse she then fled in the black colored sedan. The victim was not injured.

Suspect #1: Is described as being a white female adult 20 to 25 years old, 5′-5″, medium build, dirty blonde hair wearing a black jacket, dark gray sweats and white and black ball cap.

Suspect #2: Is described as being a white male, no further.

Suspect vehicle: Newer black four door sedan, with rear tinted windows, white paper plates with black colored hand writing on the rear plate.

Stolen: Taken was a black purse with white stitching, credit cards and check book.

Officers conducted a search of the area but did not locate the suspects or suspect’s vehicle.
