Rocklin Police Detectives arrested Jamie Payton, 28 yrs, Weimar, on June 12th at about 5:30 PM for attempted murder and possession of a controlled substance. She is being held without bail at this time.
Detectives have seized the suspect vehicle and it is being processed for evidence. There are no other suspects at this time but detectives are continuing to follow up on several leads.
The victim remains hospitalized and his condition is not known.
Rocklin Police are confident that this was not a random shooting.
