Rocklin, Calif., – William Jessup University recently announced the signing of Amber Farley from Shasta Lake, California for the Women’s Soccer program.
Amber has been playing soccer for the past two years at Shasta College. She was voted “All Conference Goalkeeper” the Golden Valley Conference.
“I am excited to have this opportunity to come to WJU and further my education and continue playing soccer at the next level,’ Amber said. ‘Amber is a great athlete who brings positive energy and a great work ethic to the table,’ says Coach Jamie Howard. ‘We are very happy that Amber has chosen to play with us at WJU.’
While in high school, she played volleyball for 4 years with 3 years on varsity, 2 years of basketball, 4 years of softball, cross-country, and soccer. In her senior year Amber was voted best defensive player for soccer. She also received other awards such as All League and Honorable Mention in both volleyball and softball.
Amber is majoring in Psychology with her career goal as being a high school academic counselor, and coach.
