Placer County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank in north Auburn Saturday.
The man entered the bank on Grass Valley Highway and Bell Road around 1 p.m. Saturday and passed a note to the teller stating that he had a bomb. He was given money and he left the bank. He rode off on a bicycle. He was wearing a long-sleeved, purple shirt and a black knit cap.
