AUBURN — A California Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) Workshop will be offered on Saturday, Jan. 28, in Auburn.
Sponsored by the Placer County Water Agency, the workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Placer Nature Center at 3700 Christian Valley Road. Lunch is included.

Developed through the Sacramento-based Water Education Foundation, Project WET is designed to promote awareness, appreciation and knowledge of California’s water resources.

The workshops are especially useful for public and private school teachers in grades K-12 who wish to help educate future generations about the importance of our water supplies.

Each participating teacher will receive a copy of the Project WET curriculum and activity guide book, a water educator’s conservation guide and a $150 stipend.
