Auburn, Calif.- The Placer County Water Agency Board of Directors recently welcomed two new members who took the oath of public office and began four-year terms on the board.

Robert Dugan, a former planning commissioner and longtime community leader in Roseville, is the new District 4 director on the countywide board.  Former Colfax mayor and longtime city council member Joshua Alpine is the District 5 director.

The new members, along with returning District 3 Director Mike Lee, were sworn into office by Ryan Ronco, Assistant Registrar, of the Placer County Elections Office. 

The new board elected District 1 Director Gray Allen, of Roseville, as PCWA Board Chairman and Alpine as vice-chairman for 2013.  Outgoing chairman Mike Lee was recognized for his leadership in 2012 as chairman.

PCWA is the primary water resource agency for Placer County, with a broad range of responsibilities including water resource advocacy planning and management, retail and wholesale supply of drinking water and irrigation water, and generation of hydroelectric power.
