Sometime over Thanksgiving vacation, between November 15 and November 26, someone stole two adaptive tricycles from a storage shed in the 1500 block of Sierra Gardens Drive. The blue Rifton TMX tricycles, valued at approximately $1500 each, belong to the Placer County Office of Education and are used by physically disabled students at a special day school.   A photo of a similar-looking tricycle is attached to this release.

School offiicials locked the tricycles in a storage shed on the afternoon of November 15. When they returned from Thanksgiving break on November 26, the shed was unlocked and the tricycles were gone.

The victim is insured and will replace the tricycles, unless the stolen ones can be located.
