A Nevada County teacher was arrested for distribution of child pornography. Ethan Lewis, 32, was booked into the Nevada County Jail after turning himself in. He has since posted the requisite $30,000 bond, and been released from custody.
For the past several weeks, Lewis was the subject of an investigation by the Sacramento Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. They discovered that Lewis had been distributing files of child pornography via the Internet. A search warrant was later served at Lewis’ residence, which led to the determination of the aforementioned criminal charges.
Due to Lewis being employed as a music teacher and having regular interaction with minors, detectives are seeking any information related to unlawful conduct by Lewis.
