Folsom, Calif. – More than 40 of America’s top breweries will be showing off their latest brews at Tap Folsom, craft beer festival now in its’ third year, in Historic Folsom, on Friday, Aug. 5th from 5-9 p.m.
Tap Folsom will feature an evening of beer tasting, popular food trucks from the Sacramento region, and live music featuring area favorite, Take Out, a cover band playing hit music from the 80’s through today.
Craft beer is taking the nation by storm. With more than 4,000 breweries in operation, and nearly 60 of them here in the Sacramento region alone, the number of breweries in the United States has nearly tripled since 2000.
“It’s impossible to ignore the craft beer boom throughout the country and we’ve witnessed the same tendencies in Folsom,” said Folsom Chamber of Commerce CEO Joe Gagliardi. “Tap Folsom is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about craft beer styles and trends from some of the finest breweries in America and enjoy a fun night out in Historic Folsom.”
The festival takes place in the historic district of Folsom around the train turn style adjacent to the light rail station. Following the festival, several Historic Folsom bars and restaurants will be featuring craft beer specials and entertainment.
