A Tahoe City man remains in the Placer County Jail on $1 million bail for 10 charges related to the rape of a 15-year-old girl at his Dollar Point home.
Kenneth Rockwell Seymour, 55, was arrested at his home on April 26, the morning after the rape occurred. The crime was reported to the Placer County Sheriff’s Department by a 9-1-1 call from a family member of the victim.
Seymour, who also resides part-time in Nevada, provided the victim with alcohol and then proceeded to have unlawful sexual relations with her. Charges against Seymour include two counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor; one count of oral copulation with a victim under the age of 18; two counts of sexual intercourse with an intoxicated victim; two counts of an adult having sex with a victim under the age of 16; one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor (supplying alcohol); and two counts of sexual penetration when the victim is prevented from resisting.
