The Roseville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who used a stun gun during an attempted parking lot robbery.

At 4:34 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, a 27-year-old woman was walking in the parking lot on the north side of the Creekside Town Center (Galleria Boulevard near State Route 65), when a woman holding a stun gun approached her. The suspect discharged the stun gun at the victim, and grabbed at the victim’s purse. The victim struggled with the suspect and was able to pry the stun gun away. The suspect ran and got into the passenger’s side of a black Ford Focus, which was driven away.

The victim, who held on to her purse, suffered minor injuries, but declined medical attention. Officers recovered a stun-gun at the scene.

The suspect was described as a white female in her late teens or 20s, 5’10” to 6’0″ tall, with straight, shoulder length brown hair, wearing a black spaghetti-strap tank top and black pants. The suspect vehicle was a black Ford Focus four-door hatchback, with tinted rear windows and aluminum wheels, driven by a white male in his early 20s, with short, light brown hair.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the Roseville Police Department’s Investigation Unit at (916)774-5070, or Roseville Crime Stoppers at (916)783-7867. Cash rewards are offered for tips leading to arrest.
