Rocklin, Calif.- Sierra College is pleased to announce that Ms. Peg Grady has been selected to serve as our Interim Athletic Director.

Peg comes to us from City College of San Francisco where she has worked for the past 24 years as a basketball coach and most recently as their Athletic Director and Physical Education Coordinator.Β  Peg also has served as President of the Coast Conference, CCCAA (California Community College Athletic Association), Executive Representative for the Coast Conference, CCCAA and Management Council Representative for CCCAA, Women’s Volleyball.

Peg Grady graduated from California State University Chico, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. She earned a Master’s degree in PE with an emphasis in sports psychology from California State University Sacramento. Peg began her teaching career at Placer High School, in Auburn, coaching volleyball, basketball and track. She then relocated to San Francisco and taught PE at City College of San Francisco; coached basketball, served as PE and Dance Program and Facilities Coordinator and Co Athletic Director.

Peg has two daughters; Kerry attended Regis University on a volleyball scholarship, has graduated and is currently employed by Allergan.Β  Erin is a senior at UC San Diego on a basketball scholarship.

Peg’s interests include bicycling, hiking, camping and gardening. She loves the mountains and looks forward to living in the Auburn area once again.
