Auburn, Calif. – Embracing a responsibility to be a leading corporate citizen and seizing an opportunity to sustain a community through action, Wells Fargo Bank recently awarded Seniors First with a $10,000 grant.

The grant money will immediately be used to continue funding of Seniors First’s eight Senior Cafes, neighborhood sites that provide a comfortable, safe place to enjoy a provided hot meal and social interaction with volunteers and other guests.

“We are extremely grateful for Wells Fargo’s support and recognition of our organization as a vital partner in fighting senior hunger and improving the quality of life of the County’s elderly,” remarked Jamee Horning, executive director of Seniors First.

Seniors First is always in need of friendly, dedicated volunteers and financial support to underwrite programs and services for Placer County’s elderly and their families.ย
