Wilma Hauser, 88, of Roseville passed away at Sutter Roseville Medical Center on Tuesday, February 27 after she was injured in a February 24 traffic collision.
At about 3:50 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, the Roseville Police Department responded to a traffic collision in the 700 block of Sunrise Ave. A southbound, 2000 Honda Accord was attempting to make a left turn into the Old Spaghetti Factory, and turned into the path of a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, which was northbound on Sunrise Ave.
There were four occupants in the Honda. One of the passengers, Donald Everett Hoffman, 86, of Roseville, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Honda driver, an 87-year-old male from Roseville, was transported to SRMC, treated and released. The other two passengers in the Honda, an 83-year-old female from Roseville and Mrs. Hauser, were also transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center. Mrs. Hauser passed away Tuesday. The other 83-year-old passenger remains in critical condition at SRMC.
The driver and sole occupant of the Chevrolet Tahoe, a 30-year-old man from Lincoln, was not injured.
The Roseville Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team is continuing to investigate the collision.
