The City of Rocklin’s Theatre & Arts program presents the Center Stage holiday production of “Scrooge, The Musical”  at the Finnish Temperance Hall, 4090 Rocklin Rd., beginning December 8, at 7:30pm.

Performances will run on weekends from December 8-17.  Matinee showings will be held at 2:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and evening productions at 7:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

This tale of Christmas past, present and future takes Ebenezer Scrooge from the Charles Dickens’ classic novel and places him on-stage in this musical rendition. Brought to life through the lyrics of renowned composer, Leslie Bricusse, Scrooge seeks a personal transformation from the miserly, self-absorbed boss into a more generous and understanding human being.

Directors, Bruce Carstens and Jill Page lead a cast of local actors for this unique production of “Scrooge!”

Tickets may be purchased at the Rocklin Sunset Center, located at 2650 Sunset Blvd. Tickets may also be available at the door. General admission is $10.
