Scheduled for October 20 & 27
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Friends of Sutter’s Fort, in partnership with California State Parks and B Street Theatre Company, are proud to present “The Haunted Fort” on two Saturday evenings on October 20 & 27, 2018, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. each night.
With a family-friendly format, guests will have the special opportunity to explore the dimly-lit Fort at night at their own pace, interact with knowledgeable docents in period attire (who will share scary, spooky and sometimes disturbing details of pioneer life in the 1800s), participate in fun and interactive stations set-up throughout the Fort, and also be entertained by talented performers from B Street Theatre Company.
Back by popular demand, B Street Theatre Company will perform an 8-minute original play inspired by Sutter’s Fort several times each night in the Fort’s Distillery room. Appropriate for all ages, the engaging performances are included with event admission.
Treasure Hunt App
New this year, attendees are encouraged to download Zamquest, a treasure hunt app in order to participate in a free treasure hunt during The Haunted Fort. Participants will receive Halloween treats after successfully completing the game during the event.
