Hosted at The Backyard in Sacramento, this one-day event brought out emos and music fans of all ages. Diva Bleach took the stage promptly at 2:00 pm to kick off the first set, with energetic fans flocking to the barricade. A single stage setup ensured that fans didnโt miss a moment of action, while providing plenty of opportunities during set breaks to grab a bite from food trucks and snag a much-needed frosty libation.ย
The layout allowed for music to be heard from all spots in the venue, enabling fans to enjoy the shows while walking around to take pictures at various photo backdrops and cool off at the misted cooling stations. VIPs enjoyed a shaded, grassy hill with side views of the stage for an exclusive viewing experience. All in all, there were no bad ways to enjoy the festival, making it a memorable event for everyone who attended.
Sad Summer Fest continues its tour eastward with stops in Denver before an extended east coast run.
