Wednesday afternoon, Roseville Police detectives arrested three people suspected of planning and carrying out the robbery of a fast-food restaurant in July.
At 9 a.m. July 22, two men robbed a fast-food restaurant in the 4000 block of Foothills Blvd. They entered the restaurant wearing masks and gloves and displaying weapons–one was armed with a handgun and the other with a knife. They ordered the employees and a customer into the freezer, took money from the business and the customer’s wallet and cell phone.
Roseville Police detectives investigated and on Wednesday afternoon, September 19, arrested Tito Luis Ruiz Hernandez, 22, of Elk Grove, and Seville Dupree Butler, 23, of Sacramento, on suspicion of carrying out the robbery. They also arrested Butler’s girlfriend, Maria Isabel Perez-Vasquez, 21, of Roseville on suspicion of helping them plan and carry out the robbery. Perez-Vasquez was one of the restaurant employees present when the restaurant was robbed.
The three were arrested on Placer Superior Court warrants charging robbery, conspiracy, and special allegations of using a firearm and a dangerous weapon in the commission of the robbery. They’re each being held in the Placer County Jail on $100,000 bail.
