At 4:48 p.m. Sunday, September 27, Roseville Police Department officers responded to a two-vehicle traffic collision on Foothills Boulevard at Switchman Drive.
Gary Tom Trevorrow, 55, of Roseville was driving his 1989 Toyota Celica southbound on Foothills Boulevard, and turned left onto Switchman Drive, into the path of a northbound 2006 Toyota pickup. The pickup driver, a 54-year-old Sacramento man, was not able to stop in time, and the pickup struck the Celica broadside.
Mr. Trevorrow, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The pickup driver received treatment for minor injuries at the scene. There were no other passengers in either vehicle.
The northbound lanes of Foothills Boulevard were closed for approximately five hours while traffic investigators examined the scene. The Roseville Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the collision.
