Roseville Police officers are investigating two robberies reported on Thursday, February 9. The robberies do not appear to be related to each other.

Robbery and Assault at Pleasant Grove Business

At approximately 8:05 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, a male and female entered a gas station convenience store in the 1200 block of Pleasant Grove Boulevard and attempted to buy cigars.

Bank Robbery Suspect in Custody

On Friday morning, January 13, Carl Pinkston, 51, of Sacramento, turned himself in to the Sacramento County Jail on a Placer County arrest warrant for robbery. He is currently in custody in the Sacramento County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Bank Robbery at U.S. Bank in Roseville (updated)

At 12:35 p.m. on January 9, a man entered the U.S. Bank, 221 Estates Drive, and handed a teller a note demanding money. The man took money from the teller and placed it in a manilla envelope, and then left without incident.
