Marijuana robbery in Roseville leads to arrests

Gunpoint robbery on Galleria Boulevard

Roseville, Calif.- Yesterday Roseville Police Department officers arrested three males suspected in a marijuana robbery.  The investigation continues to locate a fourth suspect.

At about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, three Sacramento men met with four other males in the parking lot of  a Galleria Boulevard restaurant to conduct a marijuana sale.  Instead of paying, the four suspects robbed the victims of their marijuana at gunpoint, and fled in a black Toyota sedan.

A Roseville Police officer located the suspect vehicle on westbound I-80 and followed it to the dead end of Kenroy Lane, off Riverside Avenue.  Two of the passengers exited the car and fled on foot, but the other two remained with the car and were taken into custody without further incident.

Roseville, Citrus Heights and CHP officers searched the area around Cirby Way and Riverside Avenue, assisted by CHP’s helicopter, and eventually located the third suspect in the greenbelt area near the 300 block of Cirby Way. The fourth suspect hasn’t yet been located.

Anthony James McDonald-Randolph, 21, of Pittsburg, CA, Bradley Montrell Lee, 20, of Bastrop, Louisiana, and a 17-year-old male from Emeryville are being held in the Placer County Jail  and Placer County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of robbery and other related charges.

The outstanding suspect is believed to be from the Bay Area. He was described as a black male in his 20s, about 5’8″ and 160 pounds, with black hair in dreadlocks.  He may have a gold “grill” on his teeth, and was wearing a turquoise polo shirt and shorts. He may be armed with a handgun.  Anyone who sees this suspect should call 911 immediately.

Anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call Roseville Crime Stoppers at (916) 783-STOP (783-7867).  Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward for information leading to arrest.
