Roseville Joint Union High School District June 2024
Roseville, Calif.- We know the school year is officially over once a sea of grad caps are tossed into the air, and students prepare to take flight into their next chapter. For nearly two thousand students, their time at RJUHSD has come to an end. It feels bittersweet to say goodbye to graduates and the dozens of retirees, but I can’t deny the excitement of watching each of them turn the page to begin writing their newest chapter.
These chapters will be as unique and wondrous as those writing them! Our graduates are scattering across the country in pursuit of their dreams and passions, many of which were honed in the halls of our schools, on the pitches of our fields, and in the classrooms in which we ignite, inspire, and prepare our students. Some will be headed to Sierra College, some to our U.S. military, some to four-year colleges and universities, and others will elect to take the trade route, diving head first into booming tech industries in our region. The choices and opportunities are abundant and this is only just the beginning.
Many esteemed RJUHSD staff members will step into their own new chapter: RETIREMENT. This year, we say farewell to about 35 retirees from across the District and throughout our departments. We are deeply grateful for the dedication and service of all our classified and certificated retirees. Each of them has contributed significantly to RJUHSD and our students. We’d like to share our deep gratitude to the educators and staff who have served our students for many years. Thank you for inspiring our students and advocating for generations of young adults to follow their dreams. You leave a legacy that will inspire our educators and students for years to come.
I wish you a safe, memorable and exciting summer ahead and all that will come after!
